Chiffon veiled trousers and bold colour-blocking reflect the influence of super hero costumes while luxe leathers, super-soft cashmeres and elegant tailored wools keep things strictly not-for-kids.
Phillip Lim has well and truly nailed the point of pre-fall collections. His chic separates that would work as well with bare legs and a golden tan as they would with thick woolen tights and an extra-hot latte, while cosy-yet-cool peacoats will be warm enough for the winter months.
