While the 2012 Olympics were obviously pretty big news, they’re not the only exciting thing that’s happened during the past month. In fact, I’d argue that for many of us, the arrival of the new season collections are almost as thrilling. Just as I began psyching up for Summer in February, I’m now thoroughly in the mood for autumn. After all, there are only so many pastels a girl can wear before she starts longing for something a bit less saccharine. Having fondled most of the AW12 collections at press days back in April I can vouch that it’s going to be an excellent season. But excited though I am to dive into the autumnal delights on offer, I’m not ready to think about winter woolies just yet so instead I thought I’d take a look at the handbags on offer instead. You can wear ‘em now with bare legs and ballet flats or in a few months time with boots and a chunky knit… Further proving my theory that if there’s an item really worth investing in, a beautiful bag is surely it.
