Front Row and Fabulous: Kim Hersov

Take a look at the front row of any major fashion show and you will see and eclectic mix of characters. There’s always the rudimentary spattering of stylish celebs, seated together for obvious photo opp-related reasons. Then there are the family members who generally look a little uncomfortable in their front row seats, unless of course the designer showing comes from a fashion dynasty like the Missoni’s. But in my opinion the group most worth spotting are the Editors. Not only do they tend to rock the best frocks but if one or more of the major leaguers are in attendence you just know that the show will be worth seeing.

Kim Hersov, Editor-at-Large of Harpers Bazaar UK

Naturally I spent most of fashion week in a permanent state of Editor-watch, surveying every front row in the hope of spotting that oh-so-distinctive poker straight bob. But whilst seeing La Wintour herself is always a thrill, I was equally star-struck by the sight another ever-glamorous Editor who’s penchant for skintight leather trousers and killer heels render her one of the chicest and most terrifying FROW-ers in town. With her incredible wardrobe, perfectly coiffed locks and A-list dating history (Jude Law!!!) you would be forgiven for being a teensy bit jealous of Kim Hersov. Add to that the fact that this not-so-dumb blonde is Editor-at-large of one of Harpers Bazaar UK and that green eyed monster could turn into a full blown girl crush.
