Introducing… Botkier

Some women can’t resist the allure of a sparkling rock and for others it’s a sky high pair of Louboutins, but as far as I’m concerned handbags are and always will be, a girl’s best friend. From the (fake) monogrammed Louis Vuitton that was my pride and joy aged twelve to the Anya Hindmarch tote I spent three months wages on earlier this year, for as long as I can remember I’ve been hopelessly obsessed with bags. Whilst wandering around the designer exhibition at Somerset House between shows last week I spotted a stand packed with some of the most delectable arm candy I’d laid eyes on in a while. In butter soft leather, luxurious animal skins and of-the-moment animal prints I assumed these beauties were a) stocked everywhere from Harvy Nicks to Net-a-Porter and b) each cost the equivalent of a small car. So imagine my excitement when I learnt that the objects of my affection were in fact products of a little known and reasonably priced label, Botkier.

With a style to suit everyone these bags are the perfect combination of timeless and modern and will no doubt soon be spotted on a Fashion Editor near you.
