Kurt Geiger Introduces ‘Starheel and The Supers’

Kurt Geiger

Every woman has their ‘super’ piece. You know, it’s that particular shoe/bag/dress that makes you feel like the love child of Carrie Bradshaw and Anna Wintour… In other words, fabulous. This season the Esme platform by Kurt Geiger turned out to be just that for a LOT of women, selling out faster than umbrellas during the Jubilee Weekend (anyone who spent the jubileekend will know exactly what I’m talking about!). Following on from the phenomenal success of the studded, sky scrapers that flew off the rails all summer, Kurt Geiger’s Creative Director, Rebecca Farrar-Hockley decided to launch ‘Starheel and The Supers’ – a capsule collection consisting of 5 different styles, each designed to endow the wearer with a different super power… Or at the very least, distract us from the unbelievably depressing weather we’ve been having here in London. The lovely folk at Kurt Geiger invited me to test drive a style from the collection and I chose the Elektra, a ‘wonder wedge with go-faster spikes’. Whilst I can’t claim to have moved at all that quickly while wearing them (falling off these babies could cause serious injury), I can vouch that my Elektra wedges made me feel super indeed.

  1. This design is wicked! You obviously know how to keep a reader entertained.

Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Excellent job.
I really enjoyed what you had to say, and more than that, how you presented it.
    Too cool!
