Last week I brought you my personal “must-haves” for poolside summer holidays. Don’t get me wrong, I greatly enjoyed browsing the endless array of beach-tastic garments around not to mention the few days I subsequently spent sunning myself in Tuscany. But when all is said and done, loosely flowing fabrics, flip flops and boho maxi dresses don’t really get my sartorial pulse racing. My boyfriend dispaired whilst watching me pack blouse after blouse for our relaxed Italian get-away when in fact it required little more than a bikini or two. But I need not have panicked for my tailored city shorts, penny loafers and of course, endless blouse collection will still be put to good use as this weekend my BFF’s and I are headed to my (close) second favourite city for a week of shopping, partying and general mincing around the beautiful streets of Paris. To get us all (ok, mainly me) in the city break spirit I’ve searched high and low to come up with a selection of delectable garments suitable for even the chicest of urban outings.
