The Groucho club is not a large venue, but it could not have been better suited to the Temperley party. What it lacks in size, it more than makes up for in atmosphere and the evening had an intimate feel to it which encouraged everyone to really let their hair down. Model-beautiful (and seriously flirtatious) waiters brought round an endless supply of cocktails so delicious that all good intentions of having “just one or two” were instantly forgotten.

Wherever I looked there were gorgous, sickeningly stylish people lounging on sofa’s, chatting in not-so-secluded corners and mingling to their hearts content. Alice Temperley stole the show wearing an elegant ensemble from her SS11 collection and famous fashion faces including Jaquetta Wheeler, Liberty Ross, Poppy Delevigne, Charlotte Dellal and Janice Dickenson proved they could debauch with the best of them.

After an evening of indulgence we eventually decided to call it a night, after all there’s only so much agony a girl’s feet can take! Alice’s soiree was evidently the place to be this LFW and as we staggered out in the early hours of the morning the queue of party-hungry fashionista’s still waiting to get in covered half of Dean Street. Thankfully Day 4 was a late starter as when I woke up the following morning I was certainly in no fit state to be photographed.

Between her sublime catwalk collection and fabulous after-party, Alice has celebrated Temperley’s 10 year anniversary in style and I, along with the rest of the fashion world, look forward to another decade of her designs.
Love Ella. X
