La Petite Party Diaries: Mulberry Celebrates it’s 40 Birthday in Copenhagen

If anyone can turn reaching their middle years into a major cause celebrè it’s the fash pack’s favourite design house, Mulberry. The brand celebrated at East London boutique, Start earlier this year and this week they took the party overseas to Copenhagen where the international fashion elite turned out in force to celebrate Mulberry turning a very naughty forty. Sadly due to lack of funding your’s truly couldn’t make the event but according to my sources the soiree was so darned fabulous it would be a crime not to give you a glimpse of the glamourous attendees in all their perfectly groomed glory.

Since kicking things off in London, Mulberry have taken their party on a world tour finally arriving in Denmark to treat Scandinavian customers, journalists and fashionistas to a good look at their new collection and printed showcase book as part of Copenhagen Fashion Week.

Given that they’re a very Britsh brand, you won’t be suprised to hear that both booze and food were in plentiful supply at Mulberry’s Copenhagen birthday bash. High profile guests including Hamish Bowles, Bieate Bille and Andrea Rudolph tucked into champagne cocktails and victoria sponge cake. Tunes were provided by hotter-than-hot Danish DJ Maria Schlutter and band Panama as well as Eliza Doolittle who flew in especially for the occasion. All in all, it appears that the event was the highlight of Copenhagen Fashion Week and suffice to say I’m getting my plane ticket booked for next year now!

Thanks for the lovely comment. Sure we will bump into each other at some point. And I'm so with you on the Jerome Dreyfuss loving. Can't believe I don't see more JD handbags out and about.
