Given that it was hosted by the same fine folk responsible for Wrangler’s bank holiday bonanza (THE place to be for post-carnival fun), I had pretty high hopes for United Nude’s Covent Garden launch party last night… And if the headache I woke up with this morning’s anything to go by, it certainly didn’t disappoint. United Nude are renowned for their breathtaking architectural footwear and the brand’s new Floral Street store is every bit as impressive. But as much as I adore to gaze at beautiful footwear, it was pretty hard to tear my eyes away from last night’s ridiculously beautiful guests. Despite being held on the same night as Diesel’s latest fragrance launch, United Nude was apparently the place to be and the store was packed fit to burst with fashionable lovelies knocking back seemingly limitless supplies champagne and getting their mingle on. Face-of-Burberry Cara Delvigne (below) was in attendance – looking effortlessly cool in beaten up biker boots and making me feel instantly over-dressed in my 6 inch platforms – along with designer Maria Francesca Pepe and more editors, bloggers and male models than you could shake a stick at.
Eventually the time came for United Nude to close it’s oh-so-stylish doors and we all stumbled up the road to continue the party at Bungalow 8. The dancing and general merrimaking continued there until the wee hours with half the Diesel party and weirdly enough Mischa Barton (looking considerably less fresh faced than in her OC days!) pitching up to join in the fun. Eventually I managed to summon the self control to drag my tired tootsies home to bed. In retrospect leaving an hour or three earlier might have been wise seeing as tonight is Vogue’s Fashion Night Out and my eye-bag situation is pretty criminal but hey, that’s what make-up’s for.
Love Ella. X

Mischa Barton was there? Random.
I wish I could go to Fashion Night Out SO MUCH, I've watched the videos for it in every language, uber jealous. Have an amazing time and take lots and lots of photos!
