I was up bright and early on day 3 and proceeded to wake up my roomates and probably the entire apartment building grappling with the hair dryer in the dark. After several unsuccessful attempts to work our coffee maker I headed across the Seine to Montmarte for a meeting at KCD Paris. The agency is basically the last word in fashion PR with a client list including Balmain, Isabel Marant and Chloe to name but a few. I was lucky enough to get chatting with the lovely (yes really) folk running the show at KCD’s London press day this season and they invited me in to discuss the possibility of interning with them in the future. The very idea of spending 6 months ensconsced in the heart of the Paris fashion industry leaves me breathless with excitement so fingers crossed for that one… After a leisurely lunch and a good hour spent choosing our afternoon ensembles we strolled across town to browse the Champs Elysees and soak up a bit of culture at Le Petit Palais. Then it was home for supper (cooked by Jayne again), several bottles of wine and yet another outfit change before heading out to dance the night away at Le Baron.
