After the previous night’s exertions at Paris nightspot, Le Baron none of us were feeling overly fresh faced come day 4 but by the afternoon we just about managed to make ourselves look presentable and venture out of the apartment. Several coffee’s later we headed across the river to Le Musee Des Arts Decoratifs for the much-anticipated (by me at least) Hussein Chalayan exhibiton. Whilst I’ve always appreciated that Chalayan is without a doubt one of the most influential and talented designers of our time, it wasn’t until seeing 17 years worth of his collections consolidated in this incredible exhibition that I truly fell in love with his work. Despite our chronic, ahem, ‘headaches’, a little dose of culture lifted our spirits and we spent the rest of the afternoon happily browsing the boutiques before heading out for another delicious yet hideously expensive dinner and then home for a pathetically early night.
