On the final morning of our Parisian get-away we were sorely (sore being the operative word) tempted to stay in bed nursing our hangovers and other various high-heel/white wine induced injuries, but seeing as it was our last full day I felt compelled to drag my friends out of bed and off to the shops. This may not have made me overly popular at first but by the time we had ransacked every boutique from St Germain to Le Marais we were all feeling considerably perkier (if also rather poorer) and ready for another night on the town. Several outfit changes later we headed out to a gorgeous little French restaurant in St Germain de Pres. We reminisced on the weeks’ adventures over a delicious three course meal and several bottle of pouilly fumè before heading across the river to drink, dance and carouse with various beautiful frenchmen until our bruised toes could simply take no more.

After one final trip to Le Bon Marche and a leisurely lunch in Le Jardin du Luxembourg it was finally time to say goodbye to Paris and begin our journey back to London.
