Better late than never, eh! If I could insert an emoji here it would be one of shame and shiftiness. Maybe even the monkey-covering-eyes which I never, ever use because frankly it’s pretty lame. Not as lame, however, as posting your London Fashion Week SS17 looks two months after the event. I reckon these outfits are still worth sharing, but you guys should really be the judge of that…
I’m not going to bore you by going back over why the last fashion month was something of a disaster for me, you can get the full spiel in my NYFW SS17 post. Instead lets talk clothes! And beautiful shows! Because everything I saw and (I really really hope) wore was on point.
Kate Moss x Equipment shirt, The Kooples skirt, Fendi glasses, Kate Spade NY shoes, Claudie Pierlot bag
This leopard print n’ kilt situation was not my first London Fashion Week look but I’m going to start this post with it because frankly, I’m obsessed. You might remember the Kate Moss x Equipment shirt from my Sofitel ‘La Parisienne’ shoot back in September… Or have maybe spotted it on my instagram one of the million times I’ve worn it since then. It was hands down one of the best purchases I’ve made in my life. Tragically, the Kooples kilt was been returned to its rightful owner, saying goodbye was emotional and I’m still on the hunt for one of my own so if you see it anywhere please let me know! I finished things off with glittery shoes and a pattern clashing handbag because that’s how I roll and, y’know, sparkly things.
Markus Lupfer jacker & skirt, Agent Provocateur top, Alexander White shoes, Valentino bag, Karen Walker glasses
Markus Lupfer is pretty much the best. I mean, look at this jacket!! As for the SS17 collection I wore this to check out, absolute goddamn dream. I want to wear it right now I just can’t wait kind of dream. You can sneaky a peek on my insta, or if you just google it tbh. You know I’m an absolute sucker for co-ords so the second I spotted this floral situation it was all I could do not to point and scream “MINE!” but thankfully I managed to resist. Pop socks, shiny stilettos and a silk Agent Provocateur camisole were its obvious partners, plus pink accessories obviously.
Temperley London dress All Saints jacket, Rebecca Minkoff bag & boots, Fendi glasses & charms
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again and again and again and again, Temperley dresses are the best! This billowy beauty isn’t necessarily my usual style and I was worried it might look a bit beachy given that it was a grey autumn evening. Cue studded biker jacket and assorted black leather accessories in an attempt to make things seasonally appropriate. I reckon it worked, what do you think?
What’s your favourite from my London Fashion Week SS17 outfits? And bring on AW17 Fashion Week!
