As it turns out me and the boyf wont be celebrating Valentine’s Day on February 14th this year or, unless the Autumn/Winter Fashion Week dates change dramatically, any year. Given that my flight back from New York lands at 6am on VDay and London Fashion Week starts the very next morning, a romantic rendez vous is totally off the cards. Instead I’ll be flogging back home from Heathrow to spend the day manically answering emails, sorting through show tickets, blogging and fighting jet lag with the help of obscene quantities of coffee. Still, I’m not complaining. I’d much rather spend the evening of the 14th preparing for the second leg of fashion month than eating over priced food at an over stuffed restaurant. Plus we can always do it after the shows when the weather will hopefully be slightly less wintery (yeah, right).
