IDA by Donna Ida

What: Shirt by J.Crew, Corduroy skinnies by IDA by Donna Ida, Vixen Pumps by Russell & Bromley (both c/o) & Bag by Roger Vivier (sample)

Where: Lunch date in London

As numerous people have pointed out, my new berry hued ‘do just seems to “go” with a lot of my Winter wardrobe. This sits nicely with my theory that the fact I wore a purple ensemble the day I got the unplanned dye job done was the subliminal reason behind it (oooh the power of clothes) but I won’t bore you all by repeating it. I mean, more so than I already have. Anyway, I digress. My feelings on cold weather are mixed. On the one hand, I loathe being cold, get very cold and spending six months of the year whinging and shivering is beyond tedious for all involved. On the other, lower temperatures mean more clothes! And lovely clothes too. Luscious autumnal hues, tactile textures, cosy cashmeres, knits you just want to HUG… And don’t even get me started on Christmas party gear. In the spirit of all things autumnal, I’ve been pairing my new IDA by Donna Ida berry hued cords with my (also new, naughty) J.Crew x Liberty paisley print shirt and a divine Roger Vivier bag I borrowed the other week. Admittedly the exposed feet thing was pretty unpleasant given how chilly it’s gotten but aren’t these pumps just fabulous!?

Love Ella. X

What’s harsh is to have such shallow expectations of others. Sorry it doesn’t meet yours reader, but for what it’s worth, the writer looks elegant, sophisticated and chic.

And I need to apologize. My english is not very good, but the content of my comment is clear.

That combination looks really nice, but you would look a thousand times better if you weren’t that extremely thin. I really like your style and it’s harsh to say, i know, but I don’t think, it’s healthy any more.
