At long, LONG last it appears that the sun has finally decided to make an appearence and I for one could not be more relieved. It’s only a matter of time before we all start bitching about asphyxiating on the underground and sweating through our Celine (ok, Topshop) silk shirts but for now, I’m revelling in it. Ok, so this deliciously hot weather isn’t exactly conducive to getting things done. After all, when it’s this glorious how can one resist the allure of a picnic in the park? And the idea of missing out on the chance to parade your recently-purchased-but-never-worn sunhat through the city streets is just depressing. I did some fairly extensive (and highly optimistic) shopping this Spring and have been trying desperately to wear my new season buys in the face of wind, rain and everything else in between. So now that things have finally heated up I’ve decided to make the most of this most probably short-lived burst of sunshine and really go to town on all things bright and beautiful. Colour-pop hues, gossamer-fine fabrics and highly impractical handbags now’s your moment!
