Please excuse the deeply cheesy title, I’m just slightly running out of ideas and thought that calling this look ‘lemon yellow shirt’, whilst accurate, might be a little on the dull side. As you may have noticed I’m desperately trying to wear every single one of my SS12 purchases at least twice before I have to pack them away for a good 9 months. That said, I will be able to get a few more wears out of my Summer wardrobe during New York Fashion Week.

As you may remember, last September GANT very kindly took me to NYFW as their guest for two days of wining, dining and general pampering… Oh and of course, a couple of fashion shows thrown in. This time around I’m taking myself out for the whole shebang, an exciting but fairly costly endeavour especially when you consider quite how many outfits I’m going to need! Being the cold-fearing Brit I am, last year I stuffed my case with coats, hats, gloves and layers. Naturally, it was absolutely sweltering and I spent most of my time feeling pretty uncomfortable. Well I’ve learnt my lesson and this season I’ll be using New York Fashion Week as a chance to indulge in pastels, florals and summertime delights galore, after all, there’ll be plenty of cashmere wearing opportunities back in London!
