I promise I’ll stop banging on about the weather soon (I’m a Brit, moaning about rain is in my DNA) but how ridiculous is it to be wearing this outfit in almost April!? Bobbly wool hat, sheepskin collared duffel coat, thick corduroy… All lovely things but best suited, sartorially speaking, to autumn. This weekend I’ve gone to my parents’ house in Sussex for Easter and decided to make the big, new season wardrobe swap-over. When I return to London next week my winter coats, chunky knits and thermal tights will not be coming with me. Instead it’s going to be pastel blouses, floral prints, cropped cigarette pants and potential hypothermia. The only good thing about having to wrap up last week was how brilliantly this cold weather resistant (ish) ensemble went with my new Oliver Sweeney brogues. I have a feeling that these babies are going to prove invaluable as they look great with autumnal hues and I plan on pairing them with bare legs and pop socks if/when we ever get any sunshine.
Love Ella. X
Ps) Happy Easter!
