After months of lusting after the sartorial treats on offer for SS12, it’s finally possible to indulge in pastels, chiffon and itsy, bitsy ballet pumps without fear of developing hypothermia, or at the very least looking foolish. Personally I’m going to take my queue from Marc Jacobs and get stuck into all things girlish in broderie anglaise and oversized bowes, as appeared on the catwalk at Louis Vuitton. Other than that I’ll be looking to Jonathan Saunders and Miuccia Prada who’s fresh take on retro femininity left me longing for eras long gone.
