A couple of weeks ago I promised myself I’d stop buying knitwear. Aside from the fact that my jumper collection is swiftly outgrowing my wardrobe, thanks to a moment of madness at the Nicholas Kirkwood sample sale and a couple of over indulgent nights out I’m more than a little bit penniless. But then I saw this adorable wolf motif number in Topshop and my resolve crumbled instantly. I justified my impulse buy with the reasoning that a) it’s Emma Cook for Topshop and therefore a fashion collectable and b) the candy pink colour reminds me of sugared almonds so it’s the perfect thing to wear over Christmas.

Oh Ella, this look is SOO adorable (I want to give you a cuddle). I managed to resist this same jumper after drooling over it (although I think it’s actually a racoon rather than a wolf, which only makes it cuter), but now you’re making me reconsider that!
