Where: Athens with Juicy Couture
I was just going to include my Athens outfits in with the rest of the piece I posted last week but, as per usual, I found myself writing thousands of words and using so many pictures that would have just got totally excessive and possibly rather boring for you lovely lot. And at the risk of tooting my own horn, I also reckon the ensembles I rocked during my brief jaunt in the Greek capital deserve posts of their own. Juicy Couture is a brand that’s long been close to my heart. I’m sure I’ve told you the story of the baby pink tracksuit I BEGGED my dad to bring me back from America and subsequently wore to death when I was about twelve. Well, either way, I’ve told you again so… Sorry about that. I may have lost the over straightened locks, fake tan and appalling highlights I paired with my tracksuit (yes, really) but my soft spot for Juicy Couture lives on. Nowadays though, I’m less about the sweats, and all about this ensemble. Nothing screams “summer” like broderie anglaise and I can tell I’ll be getting a lot of use out of this peplum style over the next few months. The shorts are rather shorter than I’d usually wear but I couldn’t resist the paisley print. While I wouldn’t get flash so much flesh in the city, I feel normal rules don’t apply when you’re beach adjacent. With my new Hobbs silver sandals (so comfy, I’m obsessed!) and colour popping Paul & Joe Sister handbag thrown into the mix I reckon this kind of combo is ideal for mooching around towns while on holiday, stopping for Al Fresco lunches and
possibly obviously afternoon cocktails along the way.
Love Ella. X
