As many of you lot probably know – seeing as I tweeted about it roughly a million times – in the midst of London Fashion Week I took a few hours off shows to host an event for Gap. I gave you the spiel about Oxford Fashion Week in my previous post so won’t bore us all by repeating it (although you can click here for a reminder). Instead let’s talk about the afternoon itself which, despite the extreme weather conditions outside, I reckon was a total success! To recap super quickly, the idea behind the event was for me to take up residence in a specially created styling section of Gap’s Oxford Street flagship where anyone who came along could be kitted out in the AW13 collection and throw a few shapes for our photographer. I’ve now hosted a few things along these lines and always completely freak out before hand. Will anyone come? Will they just think I’m a random weirdo attempting to choose their clothes? Does anyone but me really want to have their picture taken? Etc etc. Well, luckily it transpires that people do love dressing up and striking a pose and I had SUCH a great time getting my style on!It was absolutely incredible to meet some of you lovely lot and a huge, huge thank you to everyone who came. Anyway, enough gushing, here are some snaps from the afternoon.
You can find more snaps from the event on the Gap Facebook page… Hope to see you at the next one!
Love Ella. X
