Qui?

I'm a 20 year old Londoner making my way in the wonderful world of fashion. Since leaving school in 2009 I have interned at Baron Baronne in Paris and Alexander McQueen in London, assisted on shoots for Harpers Bazaar Arabia and Sketchbook Magazine, helped organise events for Diane Von Furstenberg and Erdem and written for various fashion publications. Nowadays I divide my time between the role of Online Fashion Editor for Velour Magazine, studying at Central Saint Martins, modelling and of course, writing La Petite Anglaise.

Pourquoi?

I launched La Petite Anglaise in May 2010 to write about my adventures interning in the French fashion capital. I wanted to share my first foray into the industry with anyone who was remotely interested and hoped that blogging about my Parisian antics would leave me with a slightly more substantial record of my time there than just an empty bank account and a nasty smokers cough. Despite my previous belief that the internet was only used for facebook and online shopping, I came home from Paris with an addiction to blogging that was rivalled only by my addiction to Gauloises. Since then I have covered Fashion Week in London, New York and Milan and travelled everywhere from Florence to Qatar all in the name of blogging.

Quoi?

La Petite Anglaise is both a diary of my personal fashion journey and a platform to write about anything and everything that inspires me. It features what I'm wearing and where I'm wearing it, which collections I'm loving and my personal picks from both high street and designer brands. From parties and press days to exclusive interviews and international fashion week coverage, La Petite Anglaise is a sartorial smörgåsbord which aims to share my own experiences in the industry whilst bringing you all the hottest news from the fashion frontline.
