LPA Styles It: Boutique by Jaeger

You might remember the first EVER installment of LPA Styles It with Jaeger London back in June. Since then my obsession with their little sister line, Boutique, has reached new levels. Boutique by Jaeger combines 60′s inspired London cool with a generous dose of Park Avenue Princess prep so, unsurprisingly, it’s right up my street. So far this season I’ve styled myself up in autumnal togs at Whistles, Start London and Matches but with temperatures plummeting by the day I decided that my latest shoot at Jaeger’s Regent Street store would be all about rich tweeds and Winter woolies. Enjoy!

Petit Bateau x Carven

Carven X Petite Bateau

Yep, it’s true, the most adorable collaboration imaginable has really and truly happened! Petit Bateau x Carven is here! I don’t need to tell you quite how excited I was by this choice morsel of sartorial gossip by you know me, I will anyway. Before actually receiving a press release about this match made in fashion heaven I spotted it on one of my favourite blogs, Sandra’s Closet. Generally I don’t pinch post inspiration from other bloggers but this collab is literally the stuff of my dreams so I couldn’t not write something about it…

As you’ve probably realised by now, there’s a not-so-little part of me that can’t help wishing I was French. Les Parisiennes just have an inimitable brand of nonchalant elegance that’s almost unbearably chic. Well, no two brands encapsulate this insouciant style better that Petit Bateau and Carven so naturally the results of their combined creative efforts are covetable beyond belief. The colours, the shapes, the stripes, the collars.. Ooh la la! Race you to the Eurostar… Or just snap them up at FarFetch.com

Introducing Anne Bowes Jewellery

Anne Bowes Jewellery

At press days, parties and even *shock horror* the odd non fashion related event, I often get asked who makes my adorable charm necklaces. Well, as you may have deduced from my outfit posts and weekly wish lists, the answer is Anne Bowes Jewellery.

A former graphic designer and illustrator, Anne more recently decided to turn her hand to jewellery design, training in Hatton Garden and selling her creations at fairs and to friends and family before officially launching her eponymous brand earlier this year. Every exquisite piece is handmade by the designer in her Sussex studio from a selection of contemporary and vintage pieces sourced all over the world. Many of the charms she uses date back to the Victorian times and earlier and but by combining antique finds with modern elements, Anne Bowes Jewellery offers up timeless elegance with 21st century twist. The majority of her pieces are also one-of-a-kind, music to the ears of anyone who’s suffered the embarassment of finding themselves sporting the same bling as half of Bond Street! Check out these stunners from her current collection…

LPA Loves Tech-sessories

LPA Loves tech-sessories

There are no two ways about it, I’m a slave to apple. Not so long ago I was a committed – or so I thought – PC and blackberry user. Two years, five fashion weeks and four iPhones 4s’s later, I’m completely and utterly hooked. On the frequent occasions my iPhones get ‘stolen’ (read: left in a loo after one too many cocktails) I spend the 3 to 5 working days it takes to get a replacement wandering around like a lost puppy, unaccustomed to being unable to recieve emails every second of the day, or navigate my way from A to B without the option of following that handy little blue dot. Even when my iPhone and indeed, iPad are safe and sound in my handbag, I still struggle to be away from my laptop for more than a couple of hours. Ok, so maybe I’m an extreme (-ly sad) example but be honest, could you imagine life without a smartphone?! I can imagine the answer is a resounding ‘no’ or if not then frankly, I suspect you’re lying. This leads me to the point of this post: tech-sessories.
