What: Paisley pants by Topshop, Shirt by Whistles, Bag by Angel Jackson (c/o), Shoes by Kurt Geiger (c/o), Necklace by J.Crew (c/o) & Coat by Sandro
Where: Meetings in London
As you may have gathered, I’m rather partial to paisley. Now I know technically speaking it was AW12′s “it” print but given the fact this motif has been been beloved by Western culture since they pinched it from Persia in the 18th century I don’t think carrying it over from one winter to the next could exactly be considered a crime. These bad boys entered my wardrobe as one half of a Topshop trouser suit I simply couldn’t resist last Autumn. I gave the look its first outing during London Fashion Week SS13 where it proved one of the most street style snapped ensembles I wore all month! I was then presented with the problem of how to ever donning the pieces again without it being ridiculously obvious that I was re-wearing. After all, a paisley trouser suit isn’t exactly shy and retiring now is it? I’m proud (I think?) to tell you that I’ve managed to give both components a couple more outings since then. The jacket, I whipped out in the midst of blizzard nemo during New York Fashion Week in February. I teamed it with ankle boots, a burgundy corduroy skirt, denim shirt and black bow neck detail (click here for a reminder). This whole denim shirt/paisley print thing obviously struck a chord because when I decided to unearth the suit’s bottom half some nine months later, I turned to my trust Whistles number yet again. Paired with pointy metallic shoes (this season’s “party flats” dontcha know), camel coat, statement necklace and patchwork satchel I thought it all looked pretty snazzy. Admittedly my feet where very cold but I never bloody learn, do I?

After what seems like an absolute lifetime since my last weekly wish list I’m very happy to announce that I will once again be scouring the net for sartorial gems to tempt us both with! But, as you might have gathered from the title of this post, it won’t be a weekly thing. This isn’t due to any lack of covetable clothing. Hell, I could probably make a daily wish list and I suspect it’s this sheer abundance of stuff I want that means it takes literally hours for me to narrow it down to a top ten. With final year of uni pressure on and less time for browsing (sob!) I’ve decided to swap my Weekly Wish Lists for Monthly Must Haves but don’t worry, these picks will be extra awesome, just you wait…

What: Holiday dress: Topshop, Bag: Angel Jackson (c/o), Sandals: The Sandal and The Craftsman (c/o)
In case you missed my many sickeningly smug instagram posts involving sandy beaches, floral short shorts and ice cold glasses of rosé, I am currently enjoying a family holiday in Majorca. Or at least I will be, until the ungodly hour of 6am tomorrow morning when we’ll be flying home. I’ve never understood my dad’s obsession with booking criminally early flights (the one out here was at 5AM!) but despite my moaning, it’s become something of a Catliff holiday tradition and I might even miss it if we stopped. The past year has been absolutely, ming bogglingly awesome. The shoots, the parties, the international fashion week-ing and whirlwind press trips… I feel like a very, very lucky girl indeed and sure as hell hope things don’t get dull anytime soon. However all that fabulousness combined with university and a semi successful attempt to retain some semblance of a social life has been pretty bloody exhausting and when last Saturday rolled around I was in need of some serious R&R. Well, resting and relaxing is precisely what I’ve been doing for the past seven days. Sunbathing, swimming, eating, drinking, lounging, reading a succession of Joan Collins bonkbusters… If that’s not embracing holiday mode I don’t know what is!

What: Rosy toes pumps: L.K.Bennett (c/o available here), Jacket: Zara, Necklace: Anne Bowes Jewellery, Blouse: Whistles, Bag: Rebecca Minkoff (c/o ATELIER-TO-GO available here), Skirt: Topshop.
Where: Birthday dinner at Aubaine, Dover Street.
The lovely folk at L.K.Bennett sent me these gorgeous shoes as a thank you for doing my LPA Styles It shoot with them (the thank you should def have been the other way round, it was so fun!) a few months ago and ever since then I’ve been waiting for an opportunity to wear them. Finally, my birthday dinner at Aubaine on Dover Street provided the perfect setting to take them for their first outing. Given how picture pretty these pointed toe pumps are, I decided to embrace my inner sugar plum fairy by pairing them with pastel shades, boucle tweeds and lashings of sparkle. I suspect any passers by would have thought I was celebrating my 12th birthday, rather than my 22nd but I still felt pretty damn fab as I skipped down Bond Street.

Ps) Apologies for the hideously scabby ankles. My beloved Whistles sandals give me the most horrible blisters but I love them so much I keep wearing them!
