Mint, pastel, emerald, hunter, grass… Whatever the shade, whatever the season, I’m obsessed with the colour green. You’ve probably picked up on this particular fashion fetish of mine already, given the amount of it I have in in my wardrobe, so I apologise for yet another post harping on about my favourite hue. I donned this little number last Friday (before London’s current heatwave started, which as you can imagine, I’m beyond thrilled about) for a morning of meetings in town… and a sneaky peek in a shop or two.

Ps) A couple of (very kind) people have commented that my hair is looking particularly shiny at the moment. Sadly I can’t claim that’s natural. I’ve never been a big fan of hair products (generally I feel that money is better saved for the handbag fund) but I’ve been trying out an ultra luxe Shu Uemura treatment from RushHair in Kensington and I have to say, it’s worked wonders!
Another week, another wish list… You’d think I’d get bored of looking at pretty clothes but yet, somehow I don’t. Bare legs + extreme rain makes for serious cashmere craving and I was just about ready to give up on Summer and make straight for the pre fall collections but then I heard a little rumour (ok, I looked at my iPhone weather app) that hot weather is set to hit London next week and all of a sudden, chunky knitwear didn’t seem so tempting. Still, I’m not about to make the same mistake I’ve made at least ten times this season and start packing away my layers, instead here are a few choice pieces that can work with whatever the weather decides to throw at us.

Where: Q&A with Stella McCartney, South Kensington.
Anyone who spent yesterday in London will no doubt be a little surprised at my choice of outfit seeing as we were subjected to high winds and horizontal sleet all day. Bare legs were certainly a brave, or some might say foolish, move and I’m not going to lie, I was absolutely f*cking freezing. BUT yesterday morning wasn’t your average Monday and it was due to highly unusual circumstances that I was willing to risk damp feet and even a mild case of pneumonia. Why? Well, I was lucky enough to be one of the 5 bloggers invited to meet Stella McCartney at her newly launched Adidas store and I’d be damned if I’d do so wearing anything other than my painstakingly selected, laid-out-the-night-before ensemble. A rendez vous with Stella is probably the fashion equivalent of meeting the Queen and you wouldn’t greet HRH wearing any old jeans n’ jumper, would you?! So at extreme risk to my health, not to mention my distinctly non-waterproof ballet pumps, I donned this red, white & blue look… appropriately team GB, don’t you think?

Where: Lily & Lionel launch at Liberty London followed by Village Bicylce 1st Birthday Party at The Blues Kitchen
It’s official, Summer has arrived in London! I know that by saying that I’ve pretty much guaranteed us another month of rain starting tomorrow but I’m so over excited right know I just can’t help myself. You may remember that I featured these bright blue J Brands in my Weekly Wish List a few months ago. Well, like so many other things I try to entice you lot to buy, I ended up buying them myself. I justified my jeans purchase on the excuse that they would go perfectly with my Wisteria print top. Ever since then I’ve been hoping and praying for a sunny enough evening to take this ensemble out for a spin and at long last, here it is. Tonight I’m off on the party rounds (surprise, surprise) starting with the launch of Lily and Lionel’s latest collaboration at Libertys before heading on to Village Bicycle’s first birthday bash at The Blue Kitchen in Camden. Also have to give a presentation bright and early tomorrow… We’ll see how that goes.
