Temperley London Pre-Fall 2012

Minimalism is all well and good but as you may have noticed, understated androgyny isn’t really my thing. Luckily, I can always rely on Alice Temperley to offer up something suitably decadent. I’ve had a bit of an obsession with the brand since I attended Alice’s SS12 catwalk show last September and fell in love with her gloriously glamourous aesthetic. This season I was equally enamoured with her AW12¬†collection’s Russian inspired opulence and her latest sartorial delights did not disappoint.

Combining rich colours, luxurious fabrics and delicate detailing, Temperley’s Pre-Fall 2012 collection is an exquisite homage to all things feminine. Shimmering gold gowns, slinky silk numbers and neat lace shifts, think ethereal elegance with a London twist. Temperley has an knack for creating pieces that ooze grown up glamour yet still feel youthful and fresh. Up close, the painstaking attention to detail is breathtaking. Ultimately Alice Temperley creates garments that are both covetable and wearable… Qualities I’d opt for over conceptual any day.

Love this – can always rely on Temperley to bring a bit of 'girly' back to fashion. Bet you a LOT of money Kate Middleton buys that cream dress xxx

The gold sequin gown has to have a red carpet moment!

I'm not usually in to fashion and clothing, but these are fantastic, so stylish and classy.
