Anyone who’s so much as glanced at my blog over the past 6 months will be well aware of, and probably pretty bored of hearing about, my extreme obsession with Whistles.

This love affair started circa AW10 and has only grown stronger by the season. It all began with a simple grey peacoat and has now expanded into a collection that fills my wardrobe and empties my bank account in equal measure. Having spent what remained of my student loan after that moment of madness in Mulberry on most of Whistles’ new season stock, I was just beginning to walk the streets free from the fear of being enticed into yet another spree. I expected to resist the urge to splurge for least another couple of weeks but thanks to Jane Shepardsons’ latest brainwave, it looks as though that’s not to be. If there is one thing that tops my weakness for Whistles, it’s my addiction to handbags and this season my two favourite things have come together in a beautiful, and potentially bankrupting, union. From the Francoise tote, to the Marianne satchel, these leather lovelies have my – and probably your – name all over them.
