WHO WON WHAT: British Fashion Awards 2012

This morning I received (and shared, natch) the bombshell that was the British Fashion Council‘s New Establishment Award nominees. Obviously this in itself was pretty exciting but it also reminded me that the British Fashion Awards themselves were just a few short hours away and as a result I found it a little hard, ok impossible, to get any work done for the rest of the day. After all, how could anyone think about 17th century Dutch portraiture when Victoria Beckham, Tom Ford, Stella McCartney and Burberry are battling it out for the same prize?! Suffice to say, my essay didn’t get written but on a happier note here are this years winners…
