Judging from what we’ve seen so far this season, video ad campaigns are the way of the future. Now, I’m not for one second saying that images of ethereal beauties bedecked in high fashion finery aren’t effective. Nor are they likely to be disappearing altogether anytime soon. But the rise and rise… and rise of online press means that social media savvy designers can spice things up with dynamic video advertising. The latest brand to embrace fashion film is cult t-shirt label, Zoe Karssen.
As you’ve probably realised by now, I’m not really a jeans n’ t-shirt kinda girl. Regardless dress code, or lack thereof, I tend to do ‘smart casual’ whatever the occasion but when I do decide to try off-duty chic, Zoe Karssen is my first port of call. In the two short years since Amsterdam based design duo Zoe and Quince Karssen launched their label, it’s become a major fash pack/celeb favourite. Despite my obsession with all things preppy and blousey, I’m a sucker for Zoe Karssen’s effortless, tongue-in-cheek style. Having just perused their new collection, ‘Kiss the Future’ I can assure you that it’s every bit as quirky-cool as what’s gone before, plus I really like this vid.
Love Ella. X
